Ok, so most Sister of Battle don't wear foofy hoop skirts, but this one does when she goes to formal balls on Terra. ^^ Why? It's not polite to openly carry a heavy melta gun to a formal event, but a hoop skirt will hide one quite nicely.

I always wondered what Adepta Sororitas looked like out of their power armor. The result is quite beautiful I must say. I applaud you, my dear.

well theoretically you could a be a sister from one of the other orders of the sororitas. a sister hospitaller, dialogos or one of the other civitas orders =)

The inspiration was taken from a drawing of a sister hospitaller in the codex, actually. It just got a ballgown attached so I could excuse myself from ginormous kneecaps with skulls on them. I've since added scalpels to the gloves as per the art and it will all be on display next month at Costume Con in their gallery.

While nothing compared to those german nutjobs making entire Astartes Power Armours for cons, at least you can wear this without becoming a social pariah.
